Your game, your space.
A practical overview of how the website handles information. Updated 4 November 2026.
Chess tools
The study board and trainer process positions in your browser. Opening a local file reads it here; it does not upload the game. This site does not connect to an engine or AI service and does not provide a server-side game upload or contact form.
Browser storage
The tools use local storage for board settings, motion preferences and trainer progress. Study variations and notes stay in the current tab unless you copy or download them. You can clear stored settings from your browser’s site settings. The trainer also has a reset control.
Shared positions
A share link includes the position and, when chosen from a puzzle solution, its recorded moves. Anyone you give that link to can see them.
Hosting
Loading the site sends a request to its hosting provider, which can receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address and request details. The site does not include an analytics script.
